Instructional Designer | Philips Healthcare
August 2018 - August 2019

Recruited for the newly-formed position to create cost-and-time-effective education materials for Philips Ultrasound products. Distributed the materials to markets around the world, to then be used globally to train Philips' employees and customers (i.e. physicians and sonographers).

  • Created over 34 quick guides and 26 tutorial videos, which fulfilled a global need for education materials and received positive feedback from the markets.

  • Supported a 9.3% sales growth of Philips Ultrasound products through creation of education materials, which helped facilitate adoption of new features and functionality.

  • Conserved time and over $20,000 in annual spending by developing the education materials in-house.

  • Formalized the content creation process by developing a comprehensive SOP document for the purpose of training future instructional designers.

Created graphic design and photography materials which were used for marketing purposes. Represented the company during information sessions at Seattle University by explaining the company’s services.

  • Headed a project of taking professional headshots of 20 other interns.

  • Headed a project of refreshing the company’s website, allowing for a more pleasant user experience: hyreculture.com

January 2018 - March 2018

Designed the new cover of the school’s law journal, the SU Law Review. Led the creative process and worked with the school’s editorial team to brainstorm and create the new design.

  • Won a campus-wide competition to be selected as the designer.

  • Revitalized the journal by redesigning the cover, which had not been re-designed in >10 years.

Invited multiple times to represent the institution and speak at public events, with audience sizes ranging from 30-200+ people. The whole process consisted of conceptualization, refinement, and the delivery itself.

  • Contributed to a $1,000 profit from food fundraising sales by designing promotional posts for Instagram.

  • Revamped the organization's website by re-designing the appearance and layout, thus enhancing the overall user experience: www.permiasseattle.org.
